There is no charge for taking part in any of our groups and courses (but as a charity we do rely largely upon voluntary donations).
St Mary’s Mums

When: 9:15-10:45am on Thursdays in term time. Space to meet, play, rest and talk. This group is for mums, bumps, babies and toddlers, dads, grandparents and childminders are also welcome.

Explorers Bible Study Group

When: 2:00 – 3:15pm on Thursdays. This friendly group is for anyone new to reading the bible. We are currently working through the book of Acts.

Cranham Home Group ‘Exploring Faith’

When: 3.30 – 5pm on alternate Monday afternoons. We look at a variety of Christian books and bible passages, with a relaxed discussion, ending with music and prayer. We are currently reading the book ‘Listening to the Music of the soul’ by Bishop Guli Frances-Dehqani.

Sheepscombe Home Group

When: 10:30-12:00noon every Wednesday. This group is open to everyone. We start with refreshments and a chat followed by a passage from Luke’s Gospel and discussion.

Mens stuff

We provide opportunities for men in the benefice (not just Churchgoers) to get together socially but also provide the chance to explore a little of the Christian faith through some events if they want to. All men are welcome.
When & Where: Various times and locations. We meet in one of the benefice pubs at 6pm on the first Monday of each month just for chat and relaxation. We arrange a meal out together once a quarter and 3 times a year we have a bacon bap and coffee breakfast in the Church Rooms with a short talk from a guest speaker.

Alpha is an opportunity to make friends, eat together and join in with a series of group conversations that freely explores basic questions about life and the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone’s welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you’re invited.
