Services in May 2026

We hold a variety of services around the Benefice at different times of day.  People of all faiths and none are welcome at these services. Please feel free to come along and join us.

See below for some of the types of services that we offer:

  • Family services, as the name implies, are best suited to include children of all ages.
  • Praise services are for those who prefer a less formal style of service, tending to use the more modern hymns.
  • Communion services follow the modern Church of England service, with a variety of both old and modern hymns.
  • BCP services use the Book of Common Prayer, created in 1666. Some find its language, though old, of great beauty and reverence.

After the service
Morning services are often followed by tea or coffee – please do stay if you wish. Our churches are all old, and some lack modern facilities within the main church building.

Visitors
Those visiting as tourists are requested to avoid sightseeing during services. You are always welcome to join in with the service, which is shared time for reverence.

Safeguarding

Sometimes people don’t know who to turn to if they feel uncomfortable, worried, or unsafe, which is why we
have a dedicated safeguarding team ready to listen and support you.

Giving

If you would like to bless a church with a financial gift, please follow the donate here button.

Thank you.
